The sleek dark indigo skirt is smooth in front, and pleated in the back. The blouse is loose around the arms, but colorfully embroidered to look like the coral. The red tupui wrapped in with her hair hangs down as another remind of the snake.

The coral snake is this village's guardian spirit. Its influence is seen in all parts of life.  The valley near these villages were settle by may Germans after World War I trying to find a new start.  Their influence on the culture is easily noticed.
